CompeGPS flight data management software is a complete sofware
package which connnects your Digifly Runner and
Cartesio flight instruments to your PC. You can also
connect your GPS directly to your PC to load
waypoints, routes and tracks.
CompeGPS
draws the tracks, waypoints and routes over maps in 2
and 3 dimensions. If you don't have a map for this zone,
CompeGPS can find it on the Internet.
CompeGPS plots tracks over 3D maps, drawing the
mountains as you see them with your own eyes!
With CompeGPS you can select a part of a track
dragging the mouse over the altitude graph, and calculate
statistics of this track. This is very useful for thermal
or transition analysis: It calculates the time, distance
and altitude gained or lost; maximum and average speed;
maximum, minimum and average vario; number of turns to
the left or right; and the glide ratio.
CompeGPS
makes animations of one or more flights at a time. The
flights, can be stored in disk as independent files
(also in IGC format), or can be stored in the programīs
logbook. This is a database where you can store and
order all your flights.
CompeGPS has a server where you can find flights
from any part of the world. You can send automaticly
your flights to the Compe-GPS Track Server and download
flights from other pilots of the world directly from
CompeGPS.
